Evans Kamuru, worship leader at Gospel Outreach Center in Lenexa, and the worship team are going to lead worship. THIS SUMMER You can be a missionary without leaving Lawrence… simply by cooking a meal for an International Bible Study at the Kihm’s home Thursday nights. Contact Ann Kihm at 979-3201 or akihm@sunflower.com. Any help is welcome: main dish for 25, dessert, salad or a side dish. For June 25 and July 2, 9, and 16.

IN HARMS WAY We don’t have much time left! We are mailing out the boxes this week and would love to have more items to bless the soldiers with. Please bring any items or monetary donations to the church office during the week. Each package will be filled with practical and spiritual encouragement. It costs between $15-$50 to fill a box. LIFE’S HEALING CHOICES This Wednesday from 6:30-8 PM, Pastor Rick Warren will be teaching on the topic, “Life’s Healing Choices.” Would you like to learn more about making choices that bring healing into your life and those around you? This is a free live simulcast held at the MSC. Everyone is welcome.

LTS IMPACT WEEKEND LTS Impact Weekend III is coming up! Impact will be July 17th and 18th - Friday evening and during the day Saturday. The cost is $20 per person if paid by July 12th. The cost goes up to $25 after the 12th. Anyone can attend and be impacted by God! Please visit our table to learn what Impact Weekend is and how your life can be impacted!

4TH OF JULY We will have a potluck at the church to celebrate our nation’s freedom. Come to the church on July 4th from 6:00-7:30 PM with a side dish and/or dessert to share. The church will provide the BBQ (burgers, dogs and Brats) plus the drinks. Everyone is invited. Bring a friend!

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY The Thursday Women’s Bible Study will meet for a picnic salad potluck lunch at a member’s home at 11:30 AM, Thursday, June 25. Call Elizabeth Zeh at 832-1350 for directions. Any new women are invited to be our guests.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL MSC will host VBS for children 4 yrs. old - 6th grade. It will be July 6-10, (Monday-Friday) from 6-8:30 PM. There will be Bible stories, worship, Scripture memory, making cool crafts and more! We need adult volunteers to be a part of this exciting, faith-filled week. If interested in helping or learning more, please attend the informational meeting next week, June 28, from 12-1:30 PM (pizza lunch provided.)

T.B.O.C. (TAKING BACK OUR CITY) Will be Wed. July 22 - Sat. July 25. This is a missions trip to Lawrence and surrounding communities for junior and senior high students. The cost is $50 if paid by July 12. After, the cost increases to $60. No Exceptions. Mandatory team meetings will be on Sunday, July 12 and 19. More details to follow.
