SENIOR FELLOWSHIP (60+) Due to some family events, the Senior Fellowship potluck has been canceled. If you have any questions, please call Carl and Joyce at 842-1466.

SUMMER ALPHA COURSE The Kihm’s are hosting a 6 week ALPHA course (Introduction to Christianity) in their home, 315 Dakota, every Wednesday night this summer for Internationals. We encourage American students/young adults to join us too!
Our evenings include dinner and we need you! We are looking for volunteers to COOK A MEAL for about 25 people. The dates to cover are July 7 & 14. Doorstep Ministries will pay for the food. Contact Ann Kihm: 785-979-3201 or akihm@sunflower.com. As we offer hospitality and the truth of God’s word, lives will be changed!!

SERMONS TO GO Have you heard a sermon that touched you but didn’t want to wait a week to get the CD? Have you picked up a copy for a friend and realized you needed a copy? Getting the sermon has never been easier! The newest addition to our media distribution is the ability to subscribe to the MSC Sermon podcast, or the MSC Worship podcast within iTunes. Instructions on how to subscribe to the podcasts are available on the church website under the Sermons page, or the Worship page. There will be a live demonstration today, during service.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL!!! Wildwood Forest starts in one short week! The dates are June 21-25 (Monday-Friday), from 6-8:30 p.m. Step deep into the jungle and experience Bible stories, skits, worship, arts and crafts, snacks and much, much more! Children ages 4 years old through 6th grade are encouraged to attend and invite their friends! There is no cost to attend VBS. Please pre-register your children today at the kiosk for a wild time at Wildwood Forest!

VBS VOLUNTEERS MEETING Today after service there will be a meeting in the Youth Lounge for those interested in helping with VBS. This will be a planning meeting and lunch will be provided. Being a part of the VBS ministry team is a wonderful opportunity to minister to children and make an eternal difference in their lives; it’s also a lot of fun!

YOUTH MISSION TRIP We will not be going to the St. Louis Dream Center this summer. Though there was much interest in the ministry opportunity, too many students had conflicts with the dates and short notice.

WORSHIP TEAM OPENINGS! The Worship Team is looking for male and female vocalists and some instrumentalists. There is a process to get on the Worship Team and some minimum requirements. The Process: fill out an application, go through a interview and vocal or instrumental tryout, and a interview with Pastor Paul. Minimum Requirements: You must be a Born-again Christian, be at least 16 years old with reliable transportation, have regular church attendance for 9 months, and formalized partnership with the Church.
If you sense the Holy Spirit speaking to you about putting your God-given talents to work, this may be your opportunity. Contact the church office or Pastor Paul at 785-841-5685.

VIDEO MINISTRY STARTING! As leaders we have made the decision to enter into the video ago and to videotape our teachings and worship. To do this we need at least one person to start and then others, who have camera knowledge and videotaping skills to start this ministry in the church. Talk with Pastor Paul if you are interested. He can be contacted at 841-5685 Tuesday-Friday, 9am to 4pm. Is God speaking to you?

PROJECTIONISTS NEEDED Have you wanted to be in the worship ministry, but CAN’T SING!? By serving as a projectionist, you CAN lead others in worship. We are in need of individuals willing to serve one Sunday per month projecting lyrics and sermon notes. Training is simple; prior computer skills are helpful. If you are interested, contact Susan King (king@ku.edu).

THANK YOU!!! Though the turnout was small, a lot was completed around the church during our Church Workday last Saturday. We would like to thank everyone who came on their day off to help us mark things off our list.
