SUMMER ALPHA COURSE The Kihm’s are hosting a 6 week Alpha course (Introduction to Christianity) in their home, 315 Dakota, Wednesday nights for Internationals. Our evenings include dinner and we need you! We are looking for volunteers to Cook a meal for about 25 people. The dates to cover are July 7 & 14. Doorstep Ministries will pay for the food. INTERNATIONAL POTLUCK Next week is the international potluck, usually held at the Kihm’s. This month, because it falls on the 4th, we’ll be meeting at the church at 5:00 pm for the church 4th of July potluck. Please bring your planned dish to the church next Sunday.

SERMONS TO GO Getting the sermon has never been easier! The newest addition to our media distribution is the ability to subscribe to the MSC Sermon or Worship podcast within iTunes. Instructions on subscribing to the podcasts are available on the church website under the Sermons or Worship page.

OLDE TIME 4TH OF JULY Next week, we will be celebrating our Independence with family and friends. Enjoy burgers, hotdogs, homemade ice cream and watermelon seed spittin’ contests. Come to the church at 5:00 with a side dish and a friend.

WILDWOOD FOREST A wonderful time was had by all last week at VBS! The theme was “Wildwood Forest” where we learned about the untameable God that we serve; He is not only all-powerful, but His love for us is without measure! As of this writing, 89 children have attended and we still have the final night which is always best attended! A genuine, heartfelt thank you to the many people that ministered faithfully to the children. On behalf of this wonderful VBS staff, a genuine, heartfelt thanks to the parents for entrusting your child(ren) to us during this time. There is no higher honor! Pastor Stan and Allison

CHILDREN’S CHURCH Grade school children that are going into the 1st and 4th grade in the Fall should promote to the next children’s church level (either 1st-3rd grade or 4th-6th grade) this summer. There is not one designated Sunday that this occurs because some children are ready to promote before others; we encourage the promotion to occur sometime before the school year begins but leave the timing to the parent’s discretion. Children in the nursery program promote on a quarterly basis based on age and will be notified by Kara Stegman, the nursery coordinator, when that occurs.

WORSHIP TEAM OPENINGS! The Worship Team is looking for male and female vocalists and some instrumentalists. There is a process to get on the Worship Team, application, interview, tryout, etc., and some minimum requirements, born-again Christian, at least 16 years old with reliable transportation, have regular church attendance for 9 months, etc. If you sense the Holy Spirit speaking to you about putting your God-given talents to work, this may be your opportunity. VIDEO MINISTRY STARTING! As leaders we have made the decision to enter into the video ago and to videotape our teachings and worship. To do this we need at least one person to start and then others, who have camera knowledge and videotaping skills to start this ministry in the church. Talk with Pastor Paul if you are interested.
