TITUS II Titus II will meet this Wednesday, August 11, in the Fellowship Hall from 9:30-11:30. This is a great time for women to get together to share and encourage one another. Childcare is available. If you have questions, contact Robin Brooks at 843-5941.

LIFELINE FAIR August 22 and 29, before and after service, you will have access to all of the LifeLine groups and their leaders. Ask the questions, get an idea of what their curriculum is and get to know them! This is a great opportunity to see where God wants you to get involved in the life of the church.

TOUR OF LAWRENCE In just 4 weeks, Saturday, August 14th, we will welcome new Internationals with a TOUR of Lawrence at 10 and GIVE AWAY HOUSEHOLD ITEMS at the Housewarming at noon. Your unneeded items can be someone else’s blessing! If you have furniture and you need to get it out of your house before August 14th, contact Len Andyshak at 766-3279 or revlen@ku.edu. Otherwise, plan to bring your items Saturday morning to an outdoor area near Burge Union at K.U. Detailed information is available in the lobby.

FALL CLASSES Two classes, Old Testament Survey and Life & Teachings of Jesus, are being offered by Rev. Barry M. Foster, Ph.D. starting August 26. For more information, pick up a brochure on the kiosk.

FAREWELL RECEPTION August 15 is Pastor Stan and Allison’s last Sunday here at the Mustard Seed. In honor of all they’ve done and meant to us individually, we are holding a reception after service on the 15 in the Fellowship Hall. Finger food and snacks will be available for everyone. Come share a moment with us as we say goodbye.

LEADERSHIP COUNCIL RETREAT August 13th-14th (Friday-Saturday) the Connection Leadership Council will go on a retreat. Talk with Pastor Stan or Allison if you have questions.

PREGNANCY CARE CENTER The Pregnancy Care Center is looking for individuals who are able to give of their time. Someone with a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ who has a heart for those who come in our door—and a desire to change the culture around us to help. They may be looking for you—chances are they have a place where you can serve. If you’re interested, contact Barbara Watkins at pcc_lawrence@yahoo.com or call the center at 785-842-6499 and we can arrange a time for you to visit the Pregnancy Care Center. There’s no pressure. They’ll show you around, discuss your options and see if there is a fit that works for you. If you don’t see a place for your talents, you’ve still gained by seeing this ministry close-up. If you do see the right place to serve here, you now have a new place where God can work through you to literally change lives.

LEADERSHIP POTLUCK August 21, at 5:30 pm, there will be a potluck meeting for all leaders at the church. Please let Tatyana know if you are unable to attend. Child care will be provided.

THANK YOU I want to take time to thank everyone who donated to the Leo Center Food pantry. The efforts of your church are helping us to keep the “inflow” of donated foods matching the “outflow” of what we give each month to those in need. Your recent donation was a real blessing.
Mrs. Christina Gilley, Food Pantry Volunteer

MEMBER NEED Mike Coffey, a member of our church, is in search of a living space to rent on a monthly basis from a home owner. Ideally the living space would be a basement/lower level of a house. Mike can be contacted at kuguy1@hotmail.com or 841-3848.
