LIFELINE FAIR Starting next week, before and after service, you will have access to all of the LifeLine groups and their leaders. Ask the questions, get an idea of what their curriculum is and get to know them! This is a great opportunity to see where God wants you to get involved in the life of the church. This opportunity will be available to you August 22nd and 29th.

FALL CLASSES Two classes, Old Testament Survey and Life & Teachings of Jesus, are being offered by Rev. Barry M. Foster, Ph.D. starting August 26, both for audit and credit. If you’d like more information, stop by the table in the lobby and pick up a brochure, ask questions and get a feel for what the classes can offer.

ADULT BIBLE STUDY Steve Butler has started a new study. This study will be a great, in-depth look at the person, work and presence of the Holy Spirit. Join others as they dive into the Word of God every Sunday morning at 9 am in the Fellowship Hall.

PREGNANCY CARE CENTER The Pregnancy Care Center is looking for individuals who are able to give of their time. Someone with a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ who has a heart for those who come in our door—and a desire to change the culture around us to help. They may be looking for you—chances are they have a place where you can serve. If you’re interested, contact Barbara Watkins at pcc_lawrence@yahoo.com or call the center at 785-842-6499 and we can arrange a time for you to visit the Pregnancy Care Center. There’s no pressure. They’ll show you around, discuss your options and see if there is a fit that works for you. If you don’t see a place for your talents, you’ve still gained by seeing this ministry close-up. If you do see the right place to serve here, you now have a new place where God can work through you to literally change lives.

MOPS MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is starting up again in September. This year, the theme is “Momology-The Science and Art of Mothering.” An evening group is starting up on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month, starting September 7, from 6:00-7:30 pm. If you want more information, or want to sign up, contact Jodi Berkland at jberklan@gmail.com or talk to Leslie Mutuku.

CONGRATULATIONS! We would like to congratulate Ed & Sharrai Eneihen on one more grandchild! Dusty and Anna Hefley had a baby girl, Elliot Gail, August 6. She weighed 9 lbs. 6 oz. and was 19 3/4” long.

OUR PRAYERS GO OUT We would like to extend our prayers and sympathy to Scott and Sheryl Moore on the loss of Scott’s mother, Joanne, this past Wednesday.
