Zobule Family Update – Solomon Islands

The year 2011 came and went so quickly. As a family, we have experienced both joys and challenges. In the midst of challenges, we learn to find our hope and strength in the LORD.
The children seem to be growing inches everyday, and our ministry work continues to grow too.
Sanny actively participated in the church’s women’s fellowship group, took 3 Bookkeeping courses and is managing a small taxi business.
Alpheaus worked for United Bible Societies as Translation Consultant and did translation training and checking in Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, and Papua New Guinea. He did a lot of teaching for Islands Bible Ministries, and has been involved in vernacular literacy work on Ranonga island.
With the restructuring of the employing organization, 2012 is going to mark a new chapter in life for our family. We are now working on establishing some means of support and then we plan to be more involved in Islands Bible Ministries, Bible translation, and vernacular literacy. We will update you as things unfold in 2012.

To Whom It May Concern:
Mike & I were so blessed by the Zobule Family Update! We knew Alpheaus when he was a KU student. We had him over for meals, holidays and watching our little boys , etc. We got to meet Sanny when they were newlyweds, before the children came. Somehow, after we left the Mustard Seed (Mike was Youth Pastor for 8-9 yrs.), in ’97, then moved to Dallas, Texas, we lost contact with the Zobules. We know people at Wycliffe Bible Translaters, in our area, who know them, but did not know their exact whereabouts. Anyways, so blessed by the picture with all their children. Alpheaus had told us that he wanted enough children for a soccer team!
May we please have their email address/physical address? Thank you! God Bless You, Joanne McMenomey
